SEER2 rating helps consumers compare energy efficiency when choosing a new air conditioner. Higher SEER2 ratings mean significant utility savings. The federal minimum is 14 SEER2 with ratings into the 20 SEER2 range. A 20 SEER2 uses half the energy of a 10 seer much like MPG ratings for vehicles.

• Install new outdoor condenser

• Connect existing copper line set, if it is reusable and properly sized
• Braze refrigerant connections

• Refrigerant charging/start-up adjustment
• New condenser pad
• New electrical disconnect
• New electrical whip
• Connect existing high- and low-voltage wiring
• Connect condensate drain
• Basic PVC drain fittings/materials
